Each person's risk will vary based on many individual factors, such as your age, family history, type of
pathogenic variant you have, if you were born male or female, and overall lifestyle. We currently cannot pinpoint
the exact likelihood of cancer for someone with a pathogenic variant. However, large studies provide estimates how
having a pathogenic variant might influence the chances of developing cancer. The following graphs show the
estimated likelihood of getting cancer in your lifetime based on current research. Note that when we use "male"
and "female" we are referring to the sex you were assigned at birth.
